I had an absolute blast with Blue water diving. From the booking with Kate, to the actual ‘one-on-one training’ (no big groups here!) their entire approach is amazing, very friendly, informative and is very well done, and most important, safety first and lots of personal attention. Thank you Christopher & Kate for this out of this world experience. I never knew this would be such an emotional and touching experience. I’ll be back!
We did a 10 dive package + Advanced Open Water + Enriched air. The team at Blue Water Diving were second to none. Ensured we had a wide variety of dive sites + bent over backwards to meet all our needs. Gerry and Chris took the time to help develop my dive skills all the way through. Very professional and a lot of fun! I would highly recommend Blue Water Diving to anyone looking to dive in Gran Canaria.
Did my advanced open water with Blue Water Diving and it was absolutely brilliant. The standard of training was extremely high and went well above and beyond what PADI requires. The atmosphere is really fun but completely professional. Absolutely trust you're in good hands. Currently looking to return to do more training. Cant recommend enough.
The entire team is unbelivable welcome and professional. We had an unforgottable experience of nature, life and friendship. If looking you for an amazing memory you must choose Blue Water Diving. Thank you guys for this you make our holidays unforgattable...hope to dive again soon with you!
Amazing crew and dive centre. Spent time researching all the dive and these guys stood out. Not a natural in the water, but Kate, Chris and crew made me feel at complete ease and helped me get my qualification. Disappointed I don't have time for more dives but definitely recommend these guys and will be back for more in future.

"Now after 15 years of being a professional instructor I still love teaching and still get the same feeling I did so many years ago".
"So when I was approached to try Scuba Diving, I jumped at the opportunity. From that day forward I've been hooked!"

Many times throughout the year we get asked this question, and the simple answer is Yes you can dive on wrecks. In Gran Canaria, we have many wreck dives available all year round. Wrecks are still classed under recreational diving, and the main types are shipwrecks, however, there is also plane wreckages and artificial reefs that can be classed as wrecks.
The Five Biggest Impacts Facing Our Oceans, plus Five Easy Ways You Can Make A Difference. Don’t worry, this is not another doom & gloom article about how we’re trashing the planet, killing our oceans, and are inevitably going to end up in a post-apocalyptic world filled with trash (just like Wall-E). However, given that two in every three breaths we take come from the ocean, and just how generally amazing the ocean is, it would be useful for all of us to be armed with some knowledge about what to do in the face of all these problems. So, in hope of inspiring some positive actions, here are the five biggest things impacting the future of our ocean, plus five easy things you can do right now to be part of the solution.
Over the years Blue Water Diving has spotted and seen many different varieties of Nudibranchs, so we decide to write this short blog about a few nudibranch facts. Nudibranchs are a group of sea slugs that have magnificent bright colors and are known around the world for that. There are really few restrictions to what colour these creatures can have. Mostly they are natives to more tropical waters but actually, 178 species have been described in Scandinavian waters.
